I am so glad to be back here. A lot has been going on but truly writing gives me total calmness. Thanks to my readers and friends who gave me the motivation to get back on my very on feet again and write once again.

A female class teacher was having a problem with a boy in her class in Primary 3.
The boy said, "Madam, I should be in Primary 4.
I am smarter than my sister and she's in Primary 4".

The Madam had heard enough and took the boy to the principal.
The principal decided to test the boy with some questions from Primary 4.

Principal: What is 3+3?

Boy: 6.

Principal: 6+6.

The boy got all the questions right.

Moments passed but It was like the passing of a bad dream.
1,2,3,4, I counted the stars
And a little tear dropped carelessly down to my chest
1,2,3,4,5,6, I counted again trying to exceed my previous numbers but my voice was the echo of a bereaved kingdom
My nose was running and I choked with my breath.

I cleaned my tears with my palms and and looked up to the sky again
The tiny light was fading away and the moon was getting shy
The cloud became darker and the cool breeze turn to a cold nightmare.

Thunders struck and once again the chaste darkness was disvirgined by the fleeting lights(meaning? )
"Uuuhmmm" I folded my body with my thought and never moved an inch.

The grass was getting wet and the soil was cold already
My blood was cold too
But my eyes were still red hot because  my tears has turned it an abode of hell.

At last the long awaited rain started falling
I remained calm in the open field and I sat like an old monk
I cried so hard but the rain washed my tears off hardly too
My little friends the stars ran away
Even the moon who stood by me in the dark could not stand the rain with me.
"But all will be fine," I said to myself.

After the rain I stood up
The stars and the moon came back shyly knowing how they betrayed me
I walked away without saying goodbye to them and all alone I went home to find true sleep.

THE VALENTINE TRUTH

THE ORIGIN, ESSENCE AND SPIRITUAL IMPLICATIONS OF VALENTINE DAY:
During the third century, an oppressive Roman Emperor called Emperor Claudius II had made it a capital punishment (death) to worship and serve Christ.
He had decreed the Romans to serve and worship his gods, and deprived the young Roman soldiers of getting married.
But an elderly Christian had stood his ground for his faith and had insisted on serving Jesus Christ and preaching the love of God to the young soldiers.
This was considered treason against the government.
He was arrested, sentenced to death and jailed. In the last weeks of his life in the prison, the jailer (prison commander) who observed that he was very learned and possessed very good Christian character, brought his blind daughter to him to be giving her lessons.
He taught her about God and told her many Roman histories and stories from the Bible. He taught her the love of God. The blind girl got so used to the elderly Christian prisoner. On his last night he left a note for Julia, the blind girl, encouraging her to love God and serve Him. And in ending the note, he wrote: "From your Valentine".
His death sentence was carried out the next day, February 14, 270 A.D.
*The name of this martyr was Valentinus*, a man who died for standing for the Preaching of the Christ and teaching people about the love of God.
So, for his love for God, he was regarded as 'Saint'.
Archaeologists have unearthed a Roman catacomb; an ancient church dedicated to Saint Valentine. During 496 AD, the Pope marked February 14 as celebration in honor of his martyrdom.
*February 14, is known as Valentine Day. But the essence of Valentine Day historically was a celebration in honor of the martyrdom of a devoted preacher, Valentinus, who stood on his faith in Christ against the devilish idolatry decrees of a Godless Emperor.*
*He preached Christ to the Roman soldiers and spread the love for God and humanity when it was a crime to do so. The day he was martyred was declared "Valentine Day". February 14, 270 AD.*
However, the devil has rewritten history today. All over the world, the history has successfully been erased and rewritten the way the devil wanted. The reason for the DAY has been blotted out from people's memory and a minor aspect of the whole story had been blown beyond proportion. The little card note Valentinus had left behind for Julia, her young beloved convert, whom she taught, preached to and prayed for, had ended with: "From Your Valentine".

Earlier today I was just going through the internet and then I came across a message from RMD, Richard Mofe Damijo who happens to be a well known Nollywood actor and politician.

Now, in his message, I must say he was indeed inspiring the youth most especially the male "gender." 

So, I decided to share his heartwarming message for you all to read and hope to get you inspired because I believe we sure do learn everyday.
So here below is his message which he shared on his gram page written to give you insight. 
He wrote, ' TAG A SON… Dear Son, I’m writing to you today because there is no day “internationally” set aside for the “boy child”, so, tired of looking on in horror as you constantly shock and embarrass me, this is from daddy to you.

I’m shocked at how many of you carry yourselves here on social media. I am shocked at the things you L O L at. I am worried at the way you speak to and about women.

I am frightened at the kinds of things that inspire and motivate you.

I am concerned that the women who get your attention are not the virtuous, brilliant types but the frivolous party, skimpily clad ones.

I am disappointed to see that the pictures you fall over yourselves double tapping are not the inspirational quotes or of clean, beautiful modest women but of women with their breasts, thighs and bottoms spilling over.

I cringe at how many of you blatantly use swear and curse words at women like it makes you cool.

I am distraught to see that many of you insinuate that a man who loves and stays with one woman is a wimp, that a man who publicly displays and speaks about his love for his woman is a “jew man”, that a man who is more interested in deeply spiritual and intellectual pursuits should be shamed…

I am worried son, deeply worried. My dear son, being uncouth, indecent, unintelligent is NOT cool and contrary to what you think, the man who stays on social media looking for Unclad ladies to validate, smart people to shame, brilliant people to tear down, celebrities to attack are NOT men but little boys battling low self esteem issues.

A real man loves God and is not ashamed to show it. He loves and respects women. He does not ask for nudes and if any misguided woman sends him her nudes respectfully deletes it and not use it as a blackmailing tool. A real man reads, yes, he reads a lot. He picks his mentors wisely, thinks before he speaks and reads his comments over and over before he hits send.

Dear son, do not let the “anonymity” of social media make you a fool rather use it to shine and be kind, reasonable and sensible at all times because that is the man I desire to see you be. Love, Daddy #RMDSaysSo

WHY YOUR MAN BEATS YOU?

This is the biggest question and one that is impossible to answer. Some will tell you he beats you because of your mouth - you talk too much and that before he could say one, you have said ten. Then he beats you for that. 

What a joke! Have you considered what he will do when you ignore him? Indeed, he will be more offended if you keep quiet when he is talking to you or about you. It means you are ignoring him. It means you are disrespecting him. The beating for that is worse. 

Now, try to walk away when he is angry and you. Then you will know that he doesn't like it for people to walk away while he is talking to them. The beating for that is severe. 

Okay, what do you do? Try to beg him when he is angry. Then you will remember the case of the lady being beaten so badly by her man even though she was saying to him, all the time: "Baby, please!". 

Well, try to complain to your father or even his own parents. Then you will see that he doesn't like it when you take family problems outside the family. 

What am I trying to say? It is not your fault that he beats you. Stop blaming yourself and searching for excuses for him. He is beating you because he is a very bad person and he believes there is no consequence. Once we are able to put him in prison, he will not try that again with his next wife.

Mummy’s boy, you are now a man. Tomorrow you will have a new mother, a new cook and a new person to share all your secrets with. It will no longer be me but her. Love your new mum even more than you love me. Before you walk into her arms forever, let me give you some words to guide you.
There was a day I was arguing with your father. We were screaming, Tempers were high. I was angry and He was angry. Then I called him an idiot! He was shocked, He looked at me asking how dare I call him that, Immediately started calling him idiot, fool, stupid, crazy, I called him all sort of name. Guess what he did? He didn’t raise his hands to hit me. He just walked away, banging the door as he went out.
My Son, If your father had hit me and destroyed my eyes, how will you feel sitting here with me today? How will you regard him as your father? Would you have been proud of him or would you be blaming me for calling him names? Never hit your wife! No matter the provocation just walk away and things will be normal. Whenever she offends you, think of this story I just told you, it could have been your mum!
Before I forget, after he left, I was filled with guilt. We slept on same bed that night and I went to him the next day. I pleaded with him, I did all I could to show am sorry and he forgave me. That day I cooked his favorite food, yes you know he loves Pounded yam & Vegetable soup right? After that day, I never called him names, my respect for him was ten times stronger.
There is something very important you must always do, my son listen very carefully, defend your wife. When she is under pressure, stand by her. If your friends hates her, it is your duty to make them see her as a Queen. Your Uncle, I mean Uncle Yusuf, never liked me. But your father was always supportive until his perception changed.
There was a day your Father was going to host the owner of his company and friends. They were three of them. That day I was in the kitchen cooking for them and your father went to buy drinks. When the table was set and food was served. Everyone started eating. Then I remembered I did not add salt in the food. I was embarrassed. Your father tasted the food and looked at me. He immediately turned to the guests. He told them that he instructed his wife last month not to add salt whenever she is cooking because of some problem with his body. He said it in a funny way and everyone laughed! The guests understood and he asked me to bring salt and everyone added according to their taste. He managed to eat the food without salt. After the guest left, he went on his knees and asked God to forgive him for lying.
Your wife is like a baby, sometimes she don’t know what to say or do. Stand up and speak for her!
Now let me talk to you about Sex. You see Sex is a wonderful thing. Do not be surprised if your wife enjoy and need Sex more than you do. There were days, I needed Sex more than your father and there were days he needed it more than me but the important thing is to always try to satisfy the other when they need you. Don’t always think of your self.
There was a time things were hard and I needed to do two jobs to support your father. One night I was so tired. When I got to bed he was in the mood. He try to make love to me and I didn’t refuse him. I was tired but I felt I needed to be there when he need me. When he tried undressing me, he saw my look and he stopped. He asked what was wrong and I said nothing. But he understand me better. He stopped and then started telling me stories until I fell asleep.
My son, Sex is best enjoyed when the two parties are physically and mentally ready for it. Sometimes, read your wife and understand her.
Make it a habit to go anywhere with your wife. Beside your job, move around with her. If anyone invite you to his house and told you not to come with your wife then be very careful. Use wisdom.
I know you love mummy… I know you tell me all your problems. But now things will be different.
Let your wife be the first to know before me. Let her be the first to see before me.
When you have problems with her don’t run to me immediately. Wait for a day to pass and then talk to her about it. Pray about it. Report her to nobody but talk issues out within yourself.
Finally, don’t forget to come and visit me with your wife every month!

After a meeting, I was coming out of a hotel and I was looking for my car keys. They were not in my pockets. A quick search in the meeting room, it wasn't there too.

Suddenly I realized I must have left them in the car.

My husband has shouted many times for leaving the keys in the ignition.

My theory is the ignition is the best place not to lose them .......
His theory is the car will be stolen if left at the ignition key slot !

Immediately, I rushed to the parking lot and came to a terrifying conclusion .....
His theory was right. The parking lot was empty 😱😞😞.

I immediately called the police. I gave them my location, description of the car, place I parked, etc. I equally confessed that I had left my keys in the car, and that the car had been stolen.

Then I made the most difficult call of all, to my husband, 
"Honey (I stammered ; I always call him 'honey' in times like these ) , I left my keys in the car .... and it has been stolen."

There was a big silence. I thought the call had been dropped, but then I heard his voice.
"Idiot", he shouted, "I dropped you at the hotel !"

Now it was my time to be silent. Embarrassed, and happy as well, I said, "Well, then pls come and get me."

He shouted again, "I will, as soon as I convince this policeman, that I have not stolen your car."

INSPIRATION FROM MICHAEL JORDAN

Michael Jordan was born in 1963, in the slums of Brooklyn, New York.

He had four  siblings and his father's earnings were not sufficient to provide for the whole family.

He grew up in a poor neighbourhood. Exposed to mindless violence and heavy discrimination in the slums, he saw for himself only a hopeless future.

His father saw in Michael, a lost soul and decided to do something.

He gave Michael, who was 13 years old, a piece of used clothing and asked: "What do you think the value of this outfit would be?"

Jordan replied,"Maybe one dollar."

His father asked, "Can you sell it for two dollars? If you can sell it, it would mean that you are a big help to your family."

Jordan nodded his head, "I'll try, but no guarantee that I'll be successful."

Jordan carefully washed the cloth clean. Because they didn't have an iron, to smoothen the cloth, he levelled it with a clothes brush on a flat board, then kept it in the sun to dry. The next day, he brought the clothes to a crowded underground station. After offering it for more than six hours. Jordan finally managed to sell it for $2. He took the two dollar bill and ran home.

After that, everyday he looked for used clothing, washed and ironed it, and sold it in the crowd.

More than ten days later, his father again gave him a piece of used clothing, "Can you think of a way you can sell this for 20 bucks?"

Aghast, Jordan said, "How is it possible? This outfit can only fetch two dollars at the most."

His father replied, "Why don't you try it first? There might be a way."

After breaking his head for a few hours, finally, Jordan got an idea.

He asked for cousin's helpto paint a picture of Donald Duck and Mickey Mouse on the garment. Then he tried to sell it in the school where the children of the rich study.

Soon a housekeeper, who was there to pick his master, bought that outfit for his master. The master was a little boy of only 10 years. He loved it so much and he gave a five dollar tip. 25 dollars was a huge amount for Jordan, the equivalent of a month's salary of his father.

When he got home, his father gave him yet another piece of used clothing, "Are you able to resell it at a price of 200 dollars?" Jordan's eyes lit up.

This time, Jordan accepted the clothes without the slightest doubt. Two months later a popular movie actress from the movie "Charlie's Angels", Farah Fawcett came to New York for her Movie promos. After the press conference, Jordan made his way through the security forces to reach the side of Farah Fawcett and requested her autograph on the piece of clothing. When Fawcett saw this innocent child asking for her autograph, she gladly signed it.

Jordan was shouting very excitedly, "This is a jersey signed by Miss Farah Fawcett, the selling price is 200 dollars!" He auctioned off the clothes, to a businessman for a price of 1,200 dollars!

Upon returning home, his father broke into TEARS and said, "I am amazed that you did it My child! You're really great! "

That night, Jordan slept alongside his father. His father said, "Son, in your experience selling these three pieces of clothing, what did you learn about success?"

Jordan replied, "Where there's a will, there's a way."

His father nodded his head, then shook his head, "What you say is not entirely wrong! But that was not my intention. What makes us all different is our level of reasoning and mentality Americans are recognised as one of the most wayward persons but yet they control 70% of the entire world's power and wealth.

 Common sense can never be common and it can't be gotten on the streets, those who have it have spent millions getting it, where a person like Bill Gates common sense rates like 60% I bet you Dangote is still on his way.

My message to you today is to seek knowledge with all your heart, money, body and soul because that's the only way we can get ourselves(Nigerians) from this mess.

Faith without work is Dead and work as a term I bet you connotes more than a million things.

Stop working and having dreams of having a good wife or God-fearing,money-bag,slavish,deaf (to your abusive tongues)and a dumb man for a husband.
