Happy Mother's Day

GRATITUDE

Prize Nwenearizi.

I always knew you were strong
I knew you could fight
I knew you will stand
And above all I knew you would never stand down for me

God bless you mama
God bless your soul
Without your strength I would never be here
Thank you mama for bringing me this far
Thank you for your unquenchable love
Thank you for your time
Love and prosperity shall find you mama
Dead or alive God bless you mama.

POEMS OF LOVE...

I KNEW IT WAS LOVE

So in this solitude
I cannot think far
Nor allow dreams to lay on same bed with me
I knew you loved me when we were free
When life had not taken much from its kindness
Then, when I made love to you and you forgot your panties at the ears of our bed
Then I knew you loved me.

NO TRUTH
       Prize Nwenearizi.
I thought your words were true
I would never doubted you for it would be unwise to doubt my happiness
But just then you laid the tyres of my love vehicle flat in the middle of my love journey to you
Going back was suicidal
And moving forward was life's own death sentence
Oh I wish your words were true.

YOU LOVE TO FIGHT

Am trying to break free from this lonely pains
Hoping someone will love me some day if not today
I was blind
Because I loved you too much
And all I did was to cry in this love
Said sorry thousand times but I was not to blame.

Some one will love me one day if not today
And maybe it will wash my pains away
For I have said sorry many times even when I was right
And yet you would still put on a fight

YOUR WEAKNESS GAVE ME STRENGTH

I am dreamer
And your soul is my bed
I am a leaner
And your illiteracy are my school
I have trained my self to love your wrongs and right
To guide your soul when the day has turn to night

I am a dreamer
And your soul is my sleep
I am a fighter
And your weakness is my strength
And tonight if the birds have rested I will walk into your heart and lay my bed in your paradise of thought never to be awaken.

TOO FAR TO COME HOME

TOO FAR🛤 TO COME HOME🏘
       By Prize Nwenearizi

I Looked how far I have gone in this lonely road,
How distant I have crawled from home,
How far I was lost from you
And all that could happen to me was free rolling of tears.

I saw a picture in my mind
A picture of you and I walking down the wet streets
Hands tied together like black slaves
But it was just a picture
A sweet sorrowful memory buried in the past.

For a long time now I was gone
Gone too far and I cannot trace back my steps for they have been washed away from the surface of the sand like a faded memory
I was lost from the world
I was like the only soul in a world of noise
I went too far from home.

So in this solitude I cannot think far
Nor allow dreams to lay on same bed with me
I know you loved me when we were free
When life has not taken too much from its kindness
When I make love to you too good that you always leave your panties around the ears of the bed
I know then you loved me.

Like I earlier said,I have gone to far
I cannot go back from here
Solitude is harmful but it has given me the chance to think for myself
And if there should be a day of us you should remember, remember the day I slept on the cold floor while you slept on the peaceful bed.

THEY ALL LEFT...

THEY ALL LEFT
         BY prize Nwenearizi

Moments passed but It was like the passing of a bad dream.
1,2,3,4, I counted the stars
And a little tear dropped carelessly down to my chest
1,2,3,4,5,6, I counted again trying to exceed my previous numbers but my voice was the echo of a bereaved kingdom
My nose was running and I choked with my breath.

I cleaned my tears with my palms and and looked up to the sky again
The tiny light was fading away and the moon was getting shy
The cloud became darker and the cool breeze turn to a cold nightmare.

Thunders struck and once again the chaste darkness was disvirgined by the fleeting lights(meaning? )
"Uuuhmmm" I folded my body with my thought and never moved an inch.

The grass was getting wet and the soil was cold already
My blood was cold too
But my eyes were still red hot because  my tears has turned it an abode of hell.

At last the long awaited rain started falling
I remained calm in the open field and I sat like an old monk
I cried so hard but the rain washed my tears off hardly too
My little friends the stars ran away
Even the moon who stood by me in the dark could not stand the rain with me.
"But all will be fine," I said to myself.

After the rain I stood up
The stars and the moon came back shyly knowing how they betrayed me
I walked away without saying goodbye to them and all alone I went home to find true sleep.

ETERNITY IN HEART; LOST WITHOUT YOU...

It's been a sand of time
Since we lost the cord that binds
Since pride blew our love away
And loneliness takes the order of the day

Ever since then then I have missed you in all the ways
In my darkness and my light
In my struggles and in my fight
In my lost and in my gains

In my pleasure and in my pains
In my comfort and my troubles
In my distress and in my hustle

I missed you in the winter
And in the summer
In the cold seasons
And in fleeting reasons
In my dark passion
And in my truthful actions
I love you.

SONG.

Today is the day
Today is the day
You leave all your pains
You leave all your pains
Cos it's gonna weigh you down

Even when you pray
Even when you pray
You should not cry
You should not cry
Cos it's gonna weigh you down.

Chorus
Lord let your mercy fall down
Let it fall before we break our bones
Let it fall before our thoughts go wrong
Let your mercy fall Lord.

WHY THINK YOU CANT?

Yes you can
Why think you can't
Yes you will have it
Why think you can't?

Yes you will go there
Why think you can't?
Yes you will pass
Why think you can't?

Yes you will go through
Why think you cant'?
Yes he will love you
Why think he can't?

Yes she will marry you
Why think you can't?
Yes you can fix it
Why think you can't

Yes you can
Yes you can.

Godbless you.

Mother, "My son my eyes are drunk with death my time is near please take good care of your brothers when on this earth my time is gone."

Son,"Nothing shall happen to you mama for if you go we shall never have any comforter again."

Mother" smiled and spoke; "my son you are wrong..there is a man above the earth who sits in comfort of the cloud and by HIS wills all creatures come and go..HE is the man that comforts  better than me or anyone.

Lesson,"though a mother's love is indisputable yet there can never be someone that can dispute God.

FOR THE CHILDREN [Dedicated to all families affected by war crimes, the havoc and chaos caused by Boko Haram. ]

Come Come Come oh little children
Run Run Run oh little children
Bombs are near
Do not dare
Guns are irons not bread.

Come Come Come oh little children
Run Run Run oh little children
God could be fast asleep
The angels are far from deep
Humans have gone mad
Oh do not be sad.

Sleep Sleep Sleep oh little children
Your stomach is empty
Foods are plenty
Your eyes are red from fever
Your lips are white from hunger
Oh little children do not go far for Bombs are near
And guns are irons not bread.
Kiarainspires.

Dedicated to all those affected by war crimes and the chaos created by the Boko Haram sect. To al homes and families that have been affected.

OH LOVE

Oh dear love
Treat me like how God would treat the devil if he repent of his sins
Do not cast me away like how a king does to slaves after their use on earth is gone.

Oh love
Do not cast me away to the vicious world
Where cold cuts from every corner and mercy is far oh dear love

ANOTHER DAY

Happy Sunday good People
Today is a brand new day
To think again
Try again
Love again
Sing away
And plan again.

A PROCESS TO SUCCESS.

Be strong,
Do not get it wrong
That there are easy ways to success
For life itself is a process 。

Be calm
Do not be scammed
That the bad days won't go away
For after the storms calms take the day.

Be humble
Do not rumble
For God keeps the humble  consistent
And to the proud he blows into non existence.

Be loveable
Do not get too comfortable
For having just little
For a day shall come all we cripple.

WAVES OF LOVE....

These songs don't help
As I feel lost once again
With the silence of the night boring holes in my pained heart again
Somewhere, I wonder if anyone could understand an ounce of my pain
With the cold night in hunger for rain
Wishing it could fall and leave me in shivers
They said they were survivors
With all sincerity, I am left in doubt
Because the holes made could sustain the whole Africa
I wish it could be much easier with haste,
Then the finality can be related with,
I am here hoping it leaves a good taste,
Because, presently you leave me sorrowful and embittered
Not for a second you ever meant a word,
Not that you're loquacious,
It's just that you faff much more than one could bear,
Now, laying on this poor mattress laid with my pretty -green bedspread,
I feel your lies weakening the mattress even more,
Trying to tear me up like there's no tomorrow,
And then I remembered something,
I'm strong and to survive your heartaches, I have to stay positive...

One pretty teared up night...life is fun, it is a picture of what you imagine.....

THE WORLD IS MINE

Beautiful Poem..

 *THE WORLD IS MINE*

Today, upon a bus, I saw a very beautiful woman
and wished I were as beautiful.
When suddenly she rose to leave,
I saw her hobble down the aisle.
She had one leg and used a crutch.
But as she passed, she passed a smile.
Oh, God, forgive me when I whine.
I have two legs; the world is mine.

I stopped to buy some candy.
The lad who sold it had such charm.
I talked with him, he seemed so glad.
If I were late, it'd do no harm.
And as I left, he said to me,
"I thank you, you've been so kind.
It's nice to talk with folks like you.
You see," he said, "I'm blind."
Oh, God, forgive me when I whine.
I have two eyes; the world is mine.

Later while walking down the street,
      I saw a child I knew.
He stood and watched the others play,
but he did not know what to do.
I stopped a moment and then I said,
Why don't you join them dear?"
He looked ahead without a word.
      I forgot, he couldn't hear.
Oh, God, forgive me when I whine.
I have two ears; the world is mine.

With feet to take me where I'd go,
With eyes to see the sunset's glow,
With ears to hear what I'd know,
Oh, God, forgive me when I whine.
I've been blessed indeed, the world is mine.

I have been truly blessed with some very beautiful people in my life. And this comes as a token of thanks!

THINKING OF YOU.....

I loved you before we met,
I missed before I knew your name,
I kissed you before we hugged,
Only in my thoughts, I can tell the difference

When I think of you, I feel music in your voice,
When I close my eyes, I smell you like a bouquet of roses,
Now I expect you like dawn,
I predict your smile,
The most charming conjecture of all my imagination.

Real words can't compose what my heart can confess,
When I am thinking about you!

Von Ditu

I AM BLEEDING

I am bleeding,
Stop my heart from healing,
Let my wound remain fresh,
Like heat from an oven.

Dusk tilk dawn you reign,
Constant agony,
Every hour,
Wash me again with my tears.

Feel my pulse faster than a railway,
Merge my thoughts to form a circle,
Harden my heart,
Crystalize your desire,
Aargh!!

LIFE IS......

Life is an opportunity, benefit from it.
Life is beautiful, admire it.
Life is a dream, realize it.
Life is a challenge, meet it.
Life is a duty, complete it.
Life is a game, play it.
Life is a promise, fulfill it.
Life is sorrow, overcome it.
Life is a song, sing it.
Life is a struggle, accept it.
Life is a tragedy, confront it.
Life is an adventure, dare it.
Life is luck, make it.
Life is too precious, do not destroy it.
Life is life, fight for it.

THE RAVEN

Once upon a midnight dreary, while I pondered weak and weary,
Over many a quaint and curious volume of forgotten lore,
While I nodded, nearly napping, suddenly there came a tapping,
As of someone gently rapping, rapping at my chamber door.
"Tis some visitor," "I muttered, "tapping at my chamber door,
Only this and nothing more."

Ah!, distinctly I remember it was the bleak December;
And each seperate dying ember wrought it's ghost on the floor,
Eagerly I wished the morrow; - vainly I had sought to borrow,
For my books surcease of sorrow- sorrow for the lost Lenore-
For the rare and radiant maiden whom the angels name Lenore-
Nameless here for evermore.

And the silken, sad, uncertain rustling of each purple curtain,
Thrilled me- filled me with fantastic terrors never felt before;
So that now, to still the beating of my heart, I stood repeating
"Tis some visitor entreating entrance at my chamber door-
Some late visitor entreating entrance at my chamber door;-
This it is and nothing more."

Presently my soul grew stronger, hesistating then no longer,
"Sir," said I "or Madam, truly your forgiveness I implore;
But the fact is I was napping, and so you came gently rapping,
And so faintly you came tapping, tapping at my chamber door,
And that I scarce was sure I heard you"- here I open wide the door;- Darkness there and nothing more .

Deep into that darkness peering, long I stood there wondering, fearing,
Doubting, dreamimg dreams no mortal ever dared to dream before;
But the silence was unbroken and the stillness gave no token
And the only word there spoken was the whispered word, "Lenore?"
This I whispered, and an echo murmured back the word, "Lenore!"-
Merely this and nothing more.

Back into the chamber turning, all my soul within me burning,
Soon again I heard a tapping somewhat louder than before,
"Surely," said I, "Surely that is something at my window lattice,
Let me see, then, what threat is, and this mystery explore-
Let my heart be still a moment and this mystery explore;-
"Tis the wind and nothing more!"

Open here I flung the shutter, when, with many a flirt and flutter,
In there stepped a stately Raven of the saintly days of yore;
Not the least obiesance made he; not a minute stopped or stayed he,
But, with mien of lord or lady perched above my chamber door-
Perched upon a burst of Pallas above my chamber door-
Perched, and sat, and nothing more.

Then this ebony bird beguiling my sad fancy into smiling,
By the grave and stern decorum of the countenance it wore,
"Thou the crest be shorn and shaven, thou, I said, "art sure no craven,
Ghastly grim and ancient Raven wondering from the Nightly shore-
Tell me what thy lordly name is on the Night's Plutonian shore!"
Quoth the Raven "Nevermore."

Much I marvelled this ungainly fowl to hear discourse so plainly,
Though it's answer little meaning, little relevancy bore;
For we can not help agreeing that no living human being
Ever yet was blessed with seeing bird above his chamber door-
Bird or beast upon the sculptured bust above his chamber door
With such name as "Nevermore."

But the Raven sitting lonely on the placid bust, spoke only,
That one word, as if his soul in that one word he did outpour'
Nothing farther then he uttered-not a feather then he fluttered-
Till I scarcely more than muttered, "Other friends have flown before,
On the morrow he will leave me as my Hopes have flown before."
  Then the bird said "Nevermore."

Startled at the stillness broken by reply so aptly spoken,
"Doubtless," said I, "what its utters is it stock and store
Caught from some unhappy master whom unmerciful Disaster
Followed fast and followed faster till his songs one burden bore-
Till the dirges of his Hope that melancholy bore
Of "Never-nevermore."

But the Raven still beguling all my fancy into smiling, Straight I wheeled a cushioned seat in front of bird, and bust and door;
Then, upon the velvet sinking I betook myself to linking
Fancy unto fancy, thinking what this omniuos bird of yore-
What this grim, ungainly, ghastly, gaunt and omniuos bird of yore
Meant in croaking "Nevermore."

This I sat engaged in guessing, but no syllable in expressing
To the fowl whose fiery eyes now burned into my bosssom's core;
This and more I sat divining, with my head at ease reclining
On the cushion velvet lining that the lamp-light gloated o'er
But whose velvet-violet lining with the lamp-light gloating o'er,
She shall press, ah, nevermore!

Then, methought, the air grew denser, perfumed from an unseen censer
Swung by Seraphin whose foot-falls tinkled on the tufted floor.
"Wretch," I cried, "thy God hath lent thee-by these angels he hath sent thee
Respite- respite and nepenthe from thy memories of Lenore;
Quoth the Raven "Nevermore.

"Prophet" Said I, "thing of evil-Prophet still-if bird or devil-
Whether Tempter sent, or whether tempest tossed thee ashore,
Desolate yet all undaunted, on this desert land enchanted-
On this home by horrow haunted-tell me truly, I implore-
Is there- is there balm in Gilead?-tell me-tell me- I implore!"
Quoth the  Raven "Nevermore."

"Prophet" Said I, "thing of evil-Prophet still-if bird or devil
By that Heaven that bends above us-by that God we both adore-
Tell this soul with sorrow ladden if, within the distant Aidenn,
It shall clasp a sainted maiden who the angels name Lenore-
Clasp a rare and radiant maiden whom the angels name Lenore."
Quoth the Raven "Nevermore."

Be that word our sign of parting, bird or fiend"
I shrieked, upstarting-
"Get thee back into the tempest and the Night's Plutonian shore!
Leave no black plume as a token of that lie thy soul hath spoken!
Leave my loneliness unbroken!- quit the bust above my door!
Take thy beak from out my heart, and take thy form from off my door!"
Quoth the Raven "Nevermore."

And the Raven, never fitting, still is sitting, still is sitting
On the pallid bust of Pallas just above my chamber door;
And his eyes have all the seeming of a demon that is dreaming,
And the lamp-light o'er him streaming throws his shadow on the floor;
And my soul from out that shadow that lies floating on the floor
Shall be lifted- nevermore!

"FINALLY."

FINALLY

Finally we met
Finally she picked my call
Finally she agreed on a date
Finally she laughed at my jokes
Finally she called me handsome
Finally she say's miss you
Finally she say's love you
Finally she kissed me
Finally she say's yes
Finally we walked to the alter
Finally we gave birth
Finally we watched our child grow
Finally we grew old together
Finally we walked home together.
