MOMENTS BY VON DITU
MOMENTS
It's barely an hour to midnight
Motionless she lay like a log in the woods
Engulfed by the pool of her blood
Her face weeps with utmost adulation
Her eyes close against her will
The tranquil of the night amplify her moans
The earth remains cold and serene
The insects cluster faster and plaster the scene
The trees observe a moment of silence
Amidst the stench of a thousand breaths
Suddenly, she makes a stretch
Her wails transposed without a rhythm
Her body agitates in an epileptic manner
With mouth wide opened to clinch a breath
She silently mutters a prayer of the dying
And then she heaved a sigh of relief
VON DITU
