Arsene Wenger reveals he had to tell Jurgen Klopp to calm down during Arsenal's draw with Liverpool

The Reds boss became animated after a decision in the second-half of the 3-3 thriller and Wenger had some advice for his counterpart


Arsene Wenger has revealed he had to tell Jurgen Klopp to calm down during Arsenal's thrilling draw with Liverpool.
The two sides shared six goals at Anfield as Joe Allen volleyed home a dramatic equaliser for Klopp's men.
Earlier in the second-half, Wenger and Klopp appeared to be in a lengthy debate as they went in search of three points.
And the Arsenal boss has revealed the details of their discussion - and his advice for the German.
"I told him 'calm down because they will send you into the stands here'", said Wenger with a grin.

"He had a little problem with the fourth official that he will explain much better than I can because I don't know why.
"It was alright, there was no bad feelings at all."

After the game, Wenger also confirmed Arsenal are closing in on the signing of Mohamed Elneny from Basel.
"Elneny will of course join us. He has joined us," said Wenger.
"We will see if he can qualify for Sunday.
